About
About me
I had my undergraduate in Physics at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), South Korea.
I entered the graduate school at the same institute, and now I am a PhD in Physics studying in the Astrophysics / Astroparticle Physics.
I am affiliated with the IceCube Neutrino Observatory since 2016, and my work spans calibration hardware development, and astrophysics analysis searching for the signal of dark matter using the high-energy astrophysical neutrino data from the IceCube.
Outreach
I am happy to talk about the recent results in my fields to the public; 'Popularization of Science' is one of my life-goal.
I had worked with the curators from Hanyang University Museum as a representative of the IceCube for a special science exhibition about the large science experiments in 2022.
I also had several public seminars in Korea about the recent results of the IceCube in 2022-2023.
I am open to any outreach activities, so feel free to contact me!
Where am I?
I am now based on Suwon-si, South Korea, where SKKU Natural Science Campus is located.
Micellineous
"Who am I" is the most important and, I believe, difficult question in my life. This leads me to the long travelling to get my own answers for the question during whole my life.
Audere est Facere (lit; To dare is to do). I believe the life is a series of challenges. Every moment, I confront a new experience. AND, always, the process is much valuable than the result.
I'm a sporty guy, and a man loving the nature and stars. Sometimes cooking for treating my lovely family and friends. Enjoying the flavour of tea, coffee, and drink with someone. Listening to music when I do something like walking and hiking.
